Colombia Travel: The National Coffee Park

A few kilometers from the Colombian population of Montenegro is the National Coffee Park. A construct driven by the National Federation of Coffee Growers and the Departmental Committee of Coffee Growers of Quindio.

This theme park was opened in 1995 and stands as a tribute to the Colombian coffee grower industry. Since its opening has been called many visitors who have contributed to tourism and economic development of the Quindio region.

The National Coffee Park has an area of 36 hectares and has a cable car, an animatronics show multicolored orchids, a roller coaster, the train of coffee and a replica of the Plaza de Bolivar in Armenia, among other proposals.

You can also visit the park two areas of great interest as are the Museo Nacional del Cafe, where cultural activities and Ecological Trail to promote ecotourism in the region.

Actually the National Coffee Park is a magical place surrounded by spectacular scenery and a standing invitation to fun and learn more about the history of coffee culture.
